    3. Hi Everyone, New test results have been posted to the Reeves DNA Project website. We also have a couple of more people in the process of taking the test. So far, we have one exact match and another very close match. If you are eligible to take the test, please consider it. If you know of a relative that is, please encourage them to take part. This project has the potential to help all of us in the long run with our family research. 1. Re: [REEVES] REEVES of Kent, ENG., 1670 to 1850
    2. Dave, my line of Reeves is from Ohio to Iowa. My gggrandfather ?? married, I believe Matilda from Ill. One of their sons was James H. (in census also noted as James S.) b. 1861. Part of the family stayed in Iowa, some went to Calif and my gggrandfather moved around, mainly to Iowa, Ill, So. Dakota, landing in Mo. Recently, some distant cousins contacted me and we think my gggrandfather may have been Manassa Reeves. Is this from your line? Judi Reeves

All of his sons served in Civil War out of Pickens, SC.
