Marinell, I recently found my granddaddy in the 1910 census by using Ancestry.com. I had not found him before by searching under his name at the archives. He is listed at the base where he was stationed in the Philippines. I don't know if all the military records are on the same roll or not, but he is listed on T624 roll 1784. Hope this will help. Just type it in not two times. Don't know why it was in there twice as I didn't type it in that way. Strange _http://newsletters.rootsweb.com/_ (http://newsletters.rootsweb.com/) I hope this time it comes through one time and no underline or dash in front.
Just try clicking on the url below and I think it will work especially since you are on aol. Beulah _http://newsletters.rootsweb.com/_ (http://newsletters.rootsweb.com/) If it doesn't you can look at the top of the email and it has a symbol that turns off urls, click on it and you can reach the site. I really don't know where the Army personnel were listed as living during their stay in the Army. Is there a Military site that you could email for that information? I'll try to look around. Hopefully someone else on the list can come up with an answer. Beulah
This is a bit off the subject, but I hope someone can help me. My grandfather was in the US Army and spent many years living with his family on US Military bases in foreign countries. Are their any census records that would include them? Does anyone know of any other type of records that could help me? Thanks, Marinell Johnson Reeves Love ya !!!!! I am looking for descendants of John Reeves, b. 1760 in VA and d. 1834 in Madison County MO. He married Rachel Barnes. John Reeves served in the NC militia and moved to MO in the early 1800's. If you are related to this John Reeves, please reply to this message. The local DAR Chapter in Madison County MO is planning to place a marker in honor of this Revolutionary War soldier. This ceremony will take place on 22 Oct 2005. Thank you.
Listers, I'm sorry folks I think I did something wrong in trying to send a picture. I know mine came back with a lot of code. Forgive me. It was just about three or four old bolders that had been used for the foundation of the Quaker Meeting House. The map just reminded me. Tommie
