Well Jo Ann, your Jesse is as hard to find as My Reed's are. I see only entries for his children and that is about it. In North Carolina Land Grants in Tn., there is a Jesse Reed mentioned. It is by Leister E Presley, Call N F435.p74x I don't know if anyone has this or if it's microfilm, but it says it was published privately in Alabama. I have to see if I have that gentleman's email address that was researching Reed's from Tn, I believe his name was Dennis- maybe he is on this list? I will keep looking.
