    3. Hello Listers, I would appreciate some help please on finding my REED family in the 1861 and 1871 censuses. They appear in the 1851 and 1881 as below but try as I may on Ancestry I cannot find any trace of them in between. Where might they be? James appears as below in 1851, 1881, 191 and 1901 censuses and he definitely is not the James Read b c 1834 Islip, Northants appearing in 1871 (RG9/959). In the 1851 census on (HO107/1550) they are at 10 High Street Shadwell:- William b c 1806 in Whitby Yorkshire - Occupation "Master of Dining Rooms"? Elizabeth (nee BUNTING) b c 1811 Sheffield married 3 March 1828 Rotherham Ann b c 1830 Sheffield Emma Louise b c 1835 Cranford, Northamptonshire James b c 1836 Cranford, Northamptonshire Ambrose Jnr b c 1838 Windon in the Woods, Northamptonshire Clara b c 1844 Shadwell, Middlesex Robert W b c 1847 Shadwell, Middlesex plus three lodgers and a servant. Two of the boys are in 1881 (RG11/1721) at 45 Trevelyan Road (Stratford/Forest Gate) West Ham as:- James b c 1836 Cranford, Northamptonshire - Occupation Stonemason Robert W b c 1847 Shadwell, Middlesex - Occupation Stonemason James appears to have married late in life and appears in 1891 (RG12/287) census at 96 Lucas Road St George in the East as:- Jas Read b c 1836 Cranford, Northamptonshire - Stonemason, with wife Mary Ann and stepson William Thurston. James appears again in 1901 (RG13/238) as (Stonemason) an Inmate at St Giles in the Fields and St George Bloomsbury Workhouse.
