Everyone had trouble with the first URL I posted for the MO & IL Death Index (1916-1950) from the Journal of the Rowan Co. Gen Soc. . I tried it myself and couldn't get the sit to open. Here's someone who had success: Betty, Thanks. The suggestion to use the URL http://www.ilsos.net/departments/archives/archives.html got me close. Then the URL for the IL Death Index is http://www.ilsos.net/departments/archives/idphdeathindex.html Thanks for posting it. I found a death date that I had been looking for and hadn't found. Lynn
