I don't know if this is a connection or not, I can't seem to get any further back with my information. William P. Reed born about 1863 in Pennsylvania. Had a brother John or Johnnie and a sister name unknown. Parents are possibly P. Reed and Mary A. Lee. William P. Reed married Carrie C. Kile of Illinois possibly in Iowa. They had eight children, (1) Jesse Kirtz Reed b 8 Jul 1887 in Norfolk, NE m. Marie, (2) Charlotte Reed b 23 Jan 1889 died as a child, (3) Floyd Alvin Reed (Reid) b 7 Nov 1890 in Lyon County Iowa m. Olive Berg, (4)William E. Reed b 22 Feb 1892 in Iowa, never married, died of flu on duty in World War I. (5) Bessie V. Reed b 18 Feb 1894 in Iowa, married twice, first to Bowman. (6) Roy (Leroy) K. Reed b 16 Dec 1898 m Virginia. (7) Glenn Monroe Reed b 17 Oct 1903 in Minnesota m Elizabeth Doerr. (8) Carrie (Caroline or Carol) E. Reed (living at this time).
