Frank, I had my Reeds living in Bartholmew co. and Shelby co. They also came from Jackson and Lawrence co., Indiana. My grandmother Mary Beth Reed is buried in the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus along with her parents William B. Reed and Jessie P. Norton. Other Reeds are Joseph Reed who married Zerilda Elkins. Eldad P. Reed who married Nancy Woody are buried in Jackson co.. Do these names sound familar? This is more than a coincedence. I would almost bet we are related. My GGrandparents are also buried in Garlanbrrok cemetery. When working with "The Archives" I notice that there were other Reeds in the same area that my people lived in. I have found in my research that although they are not of an immediate family they were related. Some times cousins, Aunts and Uncles tended to settle in or near the same community. I would like to carry this conversation further. I live near Kansas City. My town is Bonner Springs, Kansas. Where are you living or general area. Thanks I have hope. Frank
