Dear Annette, Sure I would love to explore any possible connection. This Reed family has been one of blank walls until now so I don't have much. SKS have been finding the census and marriages but that's about it for what I have. John & Eliza appear from census records to have had four children. Mahalia abt 1841 who appears to have married Charles Kilbourn on 3 Apr 1864 in Henry County, Iowa. Wesley abt 1845 unknown after that Lydia Ann 1847 married James A. Shepherd on 12 Jul 1866 in Henry County - they were my great grandparents - more descendants for them.
