Hi, Looking for information about Joseph REED who lived in Pope County, Arkansas, in 1850, and Perry County, Arkansas, in 1860. Second wife was Mahala STORY, whom he maried in Pope County in 1847. Joseph was born in Alabama about 1819, and died in prison in Arkansas during the Civil War. Joseph's children included Sarah, James, Melvin, Ralph, and Nancy, all born between 1840 and 1860.
