    3. Here is the information from William Riley Reed's obit and funeral notices from Vernon County, Nevada Mo. Nevada Daily Mail- Tue. Aug. 9, 1932 W.R. Reed, father of W.W. Reed and Willard Reed of this city, passed away Tuesday morning at his home southwest of Nevada. Mr. Reeds death occured after a long illness. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Ellen Reed and several children. One daughter, Mrs. Charles Bowen of Tulsa Ok. has been here for the past three weeks. The arrangements have not been completed. Nevada Daily Mail- Wed. Aug. 10,1932 Funeral services for W.R. Reed whose death occured Tuesday morning will be held at 2:30 thursday afternoon at Ferry Funeral Home on South Washington Street. Internment will be made in Moore's Cemetary. William Riley Reed was born Dec. 17, 1856 in Randolph County, In. Mr. Reed was married for forty-eight years to Miss Mary Ellen Hayward, who with seven children survive him. The surviving children are: W.W. Reed and Willard Reed of Nevada Mo., Mrs. Charles Bowen of Tulsa Ok., Mrs. Andrew Varner of Abington, Il., Mrs. Harry Blachley of Sentinel, Ok., Mrs. Earl Comstock of Mulberry, Kansas and Mrs. John Strain of Willow Springs. Mr. Reed had been a resident of Vernon County for the past sixteen years. >From the 1930 Census for Moundville, Vernon County, Mo. it states that William Riley was first married at the age of 24, abt.1880, but didn't marry Mary Ellen till 1886 in Bates County, Butler Mo. According to 1890 Census a daughter Geneva Drucilla was born in Mo. in 1883, so she was from his first marriage presumabley.     3. Sorry, I forgot to add that Census records I have obtained say that William Riley's parents were also born in Indiana. Mary Ellens father Robert Hayward was born in 1830's approx. in Rhode Island and her mother Elizabeth was born.in abt 1836 in either In. Ky., or Tn. ever census has her born a different state.
