I have tried everything I know to find my ggrandfather and mother with no avail.Maybe there is some one out there that has heard stories from their grandma who was originally a Reed. The thing I find that is most remembered about a persons family is what things they are important for, the bad stuiff they did, or like my father dying young for no reason. Staff Sgt. Robert Richard Reed was at Shepards Air Force Technical Training Center in Jan. 1962. A few miles from Wichata Falls Tx. he was found killed by person or persons unknown. They have never solved the crime. I am hoping that someone researching the Reeds of MO. may have a cousin, 2nd cousin ect. that has heard about this and will contact me. I have nothing of my father but a picture and some documents as I was only nine when he died. But I would like to leave my kids with more then I had because my Mom and Dad were divorced when he died. I would like to leave them with who and where he came from. He was born in Nevada Mo. 1928 to Willard and Freda Nance Reed. I have nothing on Willards family except his mother was Mary Ellenand he was one of nine children.Winnie and Willard were the only boys the rest were girls. Only names were Nellie, Nettie, and Susie (Susan) married a Comstock. Had two boys one was William the same age as my father Robert. Casn anyone help me tell myself anade nothing on Willards family except his mother was Mary Ellen, possiably Jewish.
