So, I have been following the trail of John MERRILL, who followed and lived next household with your family from the 1840 Montgomery, OH (census), to the 1850 Schuyler, OH (census). On the 1850 census, John Merrill is 78 yrs old, born in ME, wife Hannah, and on the 1860 census, he is 88 yrs old, a widower and is living with another son A.B./Ammi Baston MERRILL's family in Arkansas.
