Here is some more information about the Henry Reed d. 1789 family in Guilford Co, NC. At least I am assuming it is all the same family. Between 1806 and 1809 there are Guilford Co. NC deeds where William Reed, Henry Reed, Robert Reed and John D. Reed (it says John D. Reed) sell land, all is described as "adjoining Henry Reed's land". Robert Reed's deed says "Robert Reed of Rutherford County, Tennessee (TN), part of land originally owned by Henry Reed, beginning at John, James and Henry Reed's lots." When I went to the NC state archives many years ago to do research, I wish I had been better at recording ALL the information. I think William Reed and Robert Reed in the deeds are older children, who were grown when Henry died in 1789, or at least not minors, but they could be brothers I guess. Any help appreciated.
