Hi, I'm researching a John L. Reed who served in the Creek War, in 1836, from Alabama. He was a Private in Captain Arnold's Company, Alabama Mounted Volunteers. He enrolled for three months of service at Jacksonville, Alabama, on June 9, 1836. After serving for three months, he was mustered out at Jacksonville on September 17, 1836.
