Does anyone out there know if Blount TN was later a part of Alabama? I believe I may be connected to James Reid/Reed and Polly B Thompson. He was born in 1798 and she was born in 1802. They married either in Aug or May 1823 or 1824. I found 2 dates on them. I have no idea where they died. Thanks, Pat.

Pat, Just saw your posting. Would your James be the son of George W. Reed from Cocke Co., TN?
