    3. Barbara, My Reeds went from NC to MO in the early 1800's. Both George Reed and James W. Reed (sons of Robert Reed b. Ireland 1757) moved to Cole Co. Missouri (later became Miller Co. Mo.). Corky, The earliest I have on John Reed goes to about 1780, born (prob) TN, married 1799 Nancy Worth in TN 1800 son Thomas born, moved to NC-(prob) with in-laws 1850 son Elijah Harrison born 1806 (abt) moved back to TN died May 1807 This is all the info I have on this John Reed Sons - Thomas and Elijah moved to Shannon Co MO, and Thomas remained there until he died, Thomas was a physician. I have information on their families if you think there is any connection to your Reed family. Thank you for your information.
