    1. Re: [REED] James Reed
    2. Pat, Jeremiah and Fanny Hafley Reed had a son, (he may have been one of the twins) named James. You can find the records of them in the Bible Records in the Nashville Archives in Nashville, Tn. If I had my records in here I would email the copy I printed to you. The Reed Bible was in the hands of a Spiegel lady in Athens Tn at the time when it was copied for the archives. I wrote the lady at the address and got it back in the same envelope with a note on the bottom of the letter I wrote saying she had passed away in 1954. I couldn't understand it either, since it was written on the same letter I wrote, and had been opened, read, written on, resealed and sent back to me with no more postage on it. I don't know how they opened it without it being noticed but they did. This James Reed was born in McMinn County, Tennessee. If you think it is the same one let me know and I will go check his birth date tor you. Lou

    3. Lou, This James Reed may be connected to me. I would like to have his date of birth, please. Also, do you know his middle name or initial? How about descendants? Were there any Rosee' (or other spelling) on that Bible list? Any help is appreciated, as my James Reed is a brick wall. Thanks, Emma Jean Reed McGill emmajean@omniglobal.net
