Samuel Francis REED was born 1800-1810 probably Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut, the son of John C. REED of Durham, and Rebecca JOHNSTON of Branford, Middlesex County, Connecticut. He married first Polly MAT[T]OON, possibly the daughter of Isaiah MAT[T]OON who lived next door to him in the 1830 US Federal census for Durham. He & Polly owned property there. He married second 24 Mar 1833, Sally THARP of Meriden, New Haven County, Connecticut. The 1830 census shows his children: male age 5-10, female age 5-10, female 10-15, and an adult female (likely Polly) age 20-30. Polly probably died (or divorced?) prior to 1833 when he remarried in Meriden. Question: where did his children go, what were their names, did they marry and produce REED and other families? They would have been a male born 1825-1830, a female born 1825-1830, and a female born 1815-1820. Any leads would be much appreciated.
