My gggrandfather, Joseph Reed was probably born in TN in about 1815, died in Iron County Missouri in about 1858. His wife was Jane Swearingin, believed to have been born in Lewis County, TN in 1825. Two of thier sons, (William Suttles Reed and Samuel Brown Reed) fought in the Union Army. Anyone know of a connection with their Reeds?
