John Denny Reed married Elizabeth Jenkins on 18 August 1816 in Guilford Co, NC. I don't know anything about Elizabeth and can't place her parents or siblings. Her father was suppose to have been a Methodist minister. They came to Missouri in 1819 with their first two children, namely Henry Jenkins Reed and Thomas Black Reed. John D. Reed was the son of Henry Reed (I know that) and I think Agnes Bell. Henry and Agnes marriage date is 26 December 1766 in Rowan Co, North Carolina (if this is the right marriage). I can't place any of John D. Reed's brothers or sisters, although I have a lot of speculation due to wills and deeds.
