I have thanked everyone personally who answered my request and yes i have now solved my puzzle, just to create a new one. Charles Reed's parents were John Reed b Crediton 1729 and Sarah Besly b 1733 Barnstaple, they married in Barnstaple in 1754. Does any one know who their parents were and also half of the siblings are missing. I have the first sibling born in 1761 and that does seem a long time after the marriage. There were reportedly 13 children, but I have only found 8. Thanks to all again Kind regards, kerrie
