I don't know if we are connected but i am trying to find out info on my ggrandmother Mary Ellen (Hayward) Reed. Born Jan 30th 1865 in Taylorville, Illinois. Father Robert Hayward and mothers name possiably Elizabeth. I know my Mary Ellen married William Riley Reed in 1886 in Butler, Bates county, Missouri. The only Mary Ellen Hayward in Butler,West Point, Bates County, Mo. in 1880 was 14 living with her widowed mother Elizabeth. Also there was a Joseph Hayward age 52 born in Ohio there also.
