Hi, I haven't posted in awhile, so I thought I would repost my information in hopes someone may see something familiar. I am looking for the family of Lafayette W Reed, born about 1831 in Vt. He married Julia Tiffany in Santa Clara County California, and he was a teacher, died in Oakland Ca in 1890. They had children, Emma L, Eleanor (Nellie), Lafayette W Reed Jr, and another son Richard T Reed, who I believe was the son of Julia Tiffany and Ansel Fuller, Julia's first husband. She was born in Ct. After Lafayette's death it seems she married a Charles Button. Lafayette's parents were born in Ma, but I have no idea who they were, and can't find any birth record for him. I also have a deed of sale for some property Lafayette Sr. sold to Otis M Reed in Brattleboro Vt in the 1880's. Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone? Thanks Barbara Reed Jensen
