Hi all, I am new to the group. I am descended from William and Jane Reed from Cornwall. In 1857 they immigrated from Cornwall to South Australia. On board the ship "Marion" were William REED and his wife Jane. Their sons James and William Jnr with his wife Eliza nee PROUT and their 4 children, Agnes, Francis, John and Jane. I have been not been able to find any information about them before they left Cornwall other than a few birth places mentioned on a few certificates. These being Penzance and St Jeff. If anyone thinks they may be researching this family or have any ideas of where I could look I would be grateful. regards Maryanne Bach South Australia
