Josiah Reed born 23 July 1753 MA died in Westfield Vermont in 1804, probably the son of Lt John and Lucy Reed of Mendon Worcester County MA. Josiah's son, Rodolophus Reed, also went to Westfield Vermont which is probably why Josiah went there also. Josiah's wife, Elizabeth unknown, remained in Massachusetts and is believed to have died at Uxbridge in 1819. Wanting to clarify that Josiah Reed who died in Westfield Vermont is the son of Lt John and Lucy Reed as I have found conflicting information which suggests that the Josiah Reed born 23 July 1753 son of Lt John and Lucy Reed married a Betsey Taylor and probably died in MA?
