Unfortunately no one to date has a connection to my Norfolk, VA REED family (Lloyd Thomas & father, Joshua David born 1823) but I do know there is a very old (elementary & high) school for the deaf in St Louis (MO) and one here (college) in Washington, DC (Galluadet College).
