My Jeremiah Reed's wife or wives were Wade (1st wife) and what happened to them is a mystery, and his (2nd. wife was Frances (Fannie) Hafley. They are buried in the McMahon Cemetery in Athens Tn next to a church where they are still using. Anna, did you ever know what the "B" stood for in Jeremiah's Reed's name? On any of the records I found I never saw him use a "B" in his name. But most of us use only our first name, I got most of my information from someone that called himself Jim Holcomb and then before that I found them in Athens Court House records. We also went out to the cemetery and their plot was all grown up and some of the stones around Fannie's were broken and laying on the ground. Fannie's was also laying on the ground in the middle of all the bushes and hers was the only one I could raise. Aren't you the one I sent the pictures and copies of the will of Jeremiah's to?
