Does anyone have any infor on David or Hugh Reed from Pennsylvania about 1830-1870? They were brothers born in Scotland who settled in Ohio. Census 1880 had them both in Ohio with grown children.

Does anyone have a Charles T. Reed born about 1834 in Kentucky. Married to E. J. (Elizabeth Jane?). Born possibly in Kentucky. Family found in 1870 Missouri census with the following children: John age 13 C H age 11 S M (Susan Mildred) age 9 James L. age 7 H O age 5 Have not been able to find them in 1880 census. But, Charles T is living in the home of his son in law George W. Snider in Ten Mile, Macon, Missouri in the 1900 census. Susan Mildred and George W. were my husbands great grandparents. I for some reason was thinking the Reed Surname was included with a couple other surnames I took over admin for about the same time I apparently subscribed to the Reed list. I wasn't sure if I just subscribed to the list or took over as admin for it. Hi.,... I am trying to find out the death date for William H. Reed, who was born Mar 1845 in PA...he lived all his life in Northampton CO, PA and married Sarah Brader in 1868..... I have found him in the 1870 - 1910 census....in the 1910 census, he was living with his son Wilson and his family....he was 67 years old in the 1910 census...and was a widower....and he was living in Freemansburg Boro..... I haven't been able to find him in the 1920 census....so I am assuming that he died between 1910 - 1920....and he is buried somewhere in the Freemansburg Boro area..... Reed, born abt 1838 or in the 1900 Census...it states that he was born Mar 1845, in PA....not sure when he died as yet.....he married Sarah Brader (born Jul 1854 in the 1900 census) (found her last name by going to Bethlehem Public Library history section online and finding the marriage info and her maiden name) on Jan 31, 1868 in Northampton Co, PA..... However, I cannot find the family in the 1861 census nor the 1871 census. James appears in the 1881 census. Where could they have been in 1861 & 1871? Pat, Have you tried the census in McMinn Co. Tn? It seems most of them had sons named James but there is a Jeremiah Reed with a wife named Francis (Fanny) Hafley Reed and they did have a son with a name of James. You might check there. Also in Nashville Archives there is a book with the Bibles copied and placed in one book that might help you tremendously, It did us. Jeremiah had two wives and two sets of children but they stayed with him, I do not know what happened to the first wife but you can figure out when they married and know by that which children were of the first wife and who was the second wife.
