    3. Hello Everyone, I have more research to share. I show living next door to Jones Bradley Reavis, is a John Reavis listed in the 1850 Monroe Co., MO census. John Reavis aged 34 born Kentucky Elizabeth aged 31, born Kentucky Lucy J. aged 9 yrs. old, born Missouri James B. aged 5 yrs. old , born MO Allen, aged 3 yrs old, born MO Mary E. 1yr old, born MO This was in Monroe Co., Dist. No. 59, taken August 2, 1850 Living next to these Reavis's are the Morton brothers of Hannah and her sister Nancy Jane Morton. The brothers are George Lansford Morton and his brother, Joshua Taylor Morton. Jones Bradley's son, James Overton was born, 20 March 1842 in Monroe Co., MO He died 14 July 1888 Married Elenor Russell Their dau. Hannah Porter Reavis married Bartlett C. Roselle and had 5 children. Hannah died 1910. John Newton Reavis, born 17 Oct. 1817 in Warren Co., KY; died 1910 in Monroe Co., MO. I show his parents as Isham Reavis and Anne Jones John Newton m. Mary Elizabeth Preston (a near relative of the Lees of VA.) The writer of this piece has Mary as being born in VA. The census says KY. Mary died abt. 1890 in Florida, MO Their children were: John Alexander Reavis, m. Kate Springstead; had Frank Preston Reavis and Willard Reavis. Alice Grey Reavis, married Cecil Milner Lewellen; Children: Charles Preston Lewellen, born 23 Jan. 1878 in Florida, MO.married 1908 to Verne Ethel Holloway; died 1918 Their children were: Charles Holloway Lewellen, b. 1909; John Cecil Lewellen b. 1911 My grandpa had a cousin, Bill Lewellen, who came to Santa Barbara where my grandparents lived; I'm pretty sure that this is some of Bill's family, but so far, I haven't been able to really find out who his parents were.
