Dear Andrew and All the Reavis's I have just read Andrew's comments on his research and I am full of admiration for the work that you have done. Yes, it was thought that there were'nt any Reavis's to be found in England or elswhere, but our technology is so much more advanced then; I am referring to Marie Reavis Hall's book. People had to write and wait and wait for an answer and very often, it was the wrong one. Andrew, I applaud the wonderful work you are doing! A thought or two to pass along: my grandpa always said the Reavis's were of a Welch background. No one bothered to ask him where or when they came over or the circumstances. Jones Bradley Reavis, my ancestor could remember about the family, but apparently, nothing was written down, so it is lost. What a shame for all of us.
