The other passenger list was also in 1670's. So either he was born earlier, or his father was the first Edward; and since supposedly he had a sister Frances, that would make sense, in that he was not the LONER that has been portrayed. If only we had a clue to his age, and of course no documentation of marriages, has been found. The spelling of his name almost seems to be irrelevant, since first was Rivis, then Revis, the Reaves, ca1750, "Will" and rec after Reavis. Then later some went back to Revis! Mystery!!., My Reavis database, is and was properly backed up, but having merged them all into one is the problem, and will just have to correct as I go. I long ago decided to use only REAVIS on all variants, and the database is 7 lines all connected, so easy to determine. We sure appreciate your help with the English side of this, don't forget Revis and Ashley, as well as Alley seem to have been in St Margaret Parish records, Westminister Abbey, London. So certainly would seem they knew ea other, and find them together in Va.. *Barb
