1850 Joshua 1 1860 Jesse 11 Buncombe co Census records 1870 Jesse M. 21 *So if interpretation of 1850 correct ie Joshua, looks like this was really Jesse Marion(he went by mostly Marion it seems) Need to find data for him. 1850 wf Fanney 1860 wf Angeline 1870-1880 wf Fanney *must be that Fanny was a knickname for Angeline, or just an error in census..we still need to document her full name, incld Maiden name, which all oral fam rec has as Shepherd; but so far have not located a fShepard family in Buncombe co with a Fanney Angeline. Two other sons we need to learn more about are "John P. bca 1847" and "George C. ca1857". One daughter needs researching "Leah E. b ca1844" son "William C. bca1852"..He may have had a son Wm, Jr, and a son Lenis/Lewis H., for sure is mentioned in his will, as is his bro Marion Revis, prob father William Revis' place (mentioned) and his mother Fannie L. Revis. Have no wife's name for him Will was dated 16 September 1879 and proved 18 Nov 1879 in Buncombe co NC Son- Thomas Henry 1842-1921 pretty well researched, some items need clarifying yet, most of which can be determined frm the 1900 census, ie additional chn and/or wife other than Mary Blackwell and Mary Ann Hookes.
