Before you go, you might want to look at an outline of family history so that names and places will be in mind to ring a bell if you see references to them. There is a websites with a basic outline of Reavis family at: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~reavis/welcome.html It goes along withthe research started by Fenton Goss Reavis, his grandson Elmo Reavis, and Marie Reavis Hall who used those manuscripts as well as her own work in The Reavis Family book 1971. Due to an apparent name change by Edward-1 we have not been able yet to document his family pedigree, although records seem to indicate area from around London.
