    1. [REAVIS] William-2.....children Samuel and Mary Pritchard Revis
    2. There is so much research going on and sure would like any input anyone has to offer. It is seeming more and more like William-2 wife Mary, named in his will, may have been the mother of only Samuel and Mary Prit- chard Revis. Trying hard to document their birthyrs. Samuel was a minor in father's will, his father gave his age of majority as 20; find him purchasing land 1798 in Wake Co., and find him and a female (sis Mary maybe?) in the 1800 Wake Co census, both in the 16-26 yr old range. So if he was at least 20 in 1798, he would have been born ca 1778, perhaps yr or two prior. He married 1805, for sure was 21 at least. He was in the war of 1812, so if anyone has source data for that, would you please check for his record? Mary married 1804, so no doubt at least 21, making her born ca1783...in the 1840 Monroe Co Ind census she was listed as between 50-60...so this again would fit. So it would seem that Samuel was born ca1778 and Mary ca1783. Now the other children we know of for William-2 judging by their birth yrs, appears to maybe have had two more wives, ie Leah bca1763, Isaac bca1764, Elizabeth bca1765, Wm bca1766 and Franky bca1768. Then we have the earlier family birth yr starting 1755-1760..or so; of course all of those and the ones listed above could conceivably have been the chn of one wife, but ???????? Appreciate any documentated birth dates. Need help, and we sure need to research the families of William-2! *Barb
