Maybe Fanny knickname for Angeline :-) **Have you actually viewed the 1850 census? If not, Curt would you see if you can locate William N. pg 213 Buncombe Co to interpret the name of his wife? Nancy or Fanny..hope is Fanny! I believe it is the same person, since she is also named in son Wm C's will 1879! This still lvs us of course with differing birthyr for Thomas H..1832 or 1842, death rec says 1842, marr rec 1830, census rec 1850 ca1843, 1870 ca1832, and so on..need to view death cert and marr record. Don't see him as son of anyone other than William N., s/o Thomas -4 and Mary Roberts. But always possible. On the 1880 census he is lv next door to William and Fanny and a couple of his chn are in their household. Just need documentation for confirmation. *B
