Barb, you asked who Lewis is. On the 1870 Madison Co.census there is a Lewis age 3 with THOMAS-38 MARY ANN-17 WILLIAM-7 CATHERINE-5 LEWIS-3 LEONIDUS-10/12 Then on the 1880 Buncombe Co. census he is not with Thomas' any more,but he is there on William' I think WILLIAM-66 FANNEY-65 ELIZA-32 REBECCA-26 GEORGE-23 CATHERINE-15 (MILTON L.-13) JAMES H.-3 Barb, I think this Milton L. might be Lewis,the ages add up Lewis was 3 in the 1870 MADISON CO. census, then there is this Milton L. 13 IN 1880 Buncombe Co.census, then in the 1900 Buncombe Co. he is listed as L.Milton Revis -33 living with his Aunt Eliza Revis-56, Eliza age is off a couple years but you and I know that happens a lot with census.
