    1. [REAVIS] Another puzzle/problem with old data-line of "William-2"
    2. dau Mary Pritchard Reavis bca1770-1778 (I think 1770 more correct, if same wife of chn born ca1760 thru 1768. Wife Mary and chn Samuel, Leah, Isaac, Elizabeth, William Franky and Mary Pritchard Reavis/Revis were named in Williams "Will" dated 1784, Northampton Co NC Old records indicate that Mary Pritchard Reavis married Jesse Brasfield, 1804 in Wake Co NC. Now Jesse was born either 1785 or 1789..and his wife Mary was 4-5 yrs younger than he, accd to census records. Thus this Mary who married Brasfield was born ca1790-95, making her possibly as young as 14 when married.; and of course the birth year does not fit Mary Pritchard Revis! I am working with a couple Brassfield researchers in trying to figure out this data, and hoping someone might have some additional in- put; like who is Mary Revis bca1790..a widow Revis, lv in Wake Co? Does anyone have the names of the bondsman for their marriage. This just points out, I guess, that we still are missing much info on especially the first family of William-2 Jesse died ca1826 in Surry Co NC and Mary went to Monroe Co Ind., where she died in 1840, and is buried in the Combs Cemetery there. *Barb
