    3. Hi Barb and All, I do have some of the information on the marriage bond for Jesse and Mary. Bond shows date of !! Feb. 1804 in Wake Co., N.C. Tiller Ship and Avera Parham were bondsmen. S. Turner was a witness. Now, I have something I want to present. My grandpa's cousin was Judge James Simpson of Clark Co., KY. The Judge's sister married James Brasfield; they had a son, James Simpson Brasfield. I am wondering if James Brasfield, the husband of Elizabeth Simpson was the son of Jesse and Mary Reavis. You Reavis's have been our cousins for ages and I have been trying to find where we connected, maybe this is one of the places. I found about the marriage bond on GenForum.com; great web-site. Let me know what you think--- Cousin Bonnie -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Monday, October 09, 2000 6:56 PM Subject: [REAVIS] Another puzzle/problem with old data-line of "William-2" >dau Mary Pritchard Reavis bca1770-1778 (I think 1770 more >correct, if same wife of chn born ca1760 thru 1768. > >Wife Mary and chn Samuel, Leah, Isaac, Elizabeth, William >Franky and Mary Pritchard Reavis/Revis were named in >Williams "Will" dated 1784, Northampton Co NC > >Old records indicate that Mary Pritchard Reavis married Jesse >Brasfield, 1804 in Wake Co NC. > >Now Jesse was born either 1785 or 1789..and his wife Mary was >4-5 yrs younger than he, accd to census records.
