    1. [REAVIS] Wm H. Reavis m/1854 Washington Co Ark Mary Maxfield
    2. Next find him in Lawrence Co Mo, land purc 1859 and the 1860 census there; then 1866 Rio Vista Ca accd to the Calif Great Register, listed as William Herell Reavis, age 32 b NC carpenter. He is on the 1870 Solano co Calif census (waiting for household data to verify). He died ca1878 (hoping to locate re- cords of death and burial as well) He had a dau Martha Reavis b 1860 Lawrence co Mo, married Rev Oscar Kraft. After his death his wife Mary is believed to have married a Curtis (possibly Dr. T or J S. Curtis), and then later married Rev T.H.B. Anderson, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South in Sacramento..(pastoring 1866-1868 and 1879-1882). She is be- lieved to have had a dau by Curtis, since there is a gson listed in her obit Albert Harney..b1878 Ca father Harney mother Curtis She died 1936 in Calif. Millie is sending me copy of pages frm "a" fam bible, so hoping to have more data very soon (was able to iden- tify, because of the Maxfield, Curtis and Anderson names contained therein) Believe him to be son of James Morgan Reavis and Nancy Bagwell; we have been unable to locate data on Wm aft the 1850 Bledsoe Co Tn census, when he was in his father's household, age 17 laborer. If you remember James Morgan, wf Nancy Bagwell, and dau Nancy Harriet with her husband Fox Nail, and son Charles were on the 1860-1870 Benton Co Ark census records. So this puts Wm in the right places at the right times. His wife's family was frm Overton Co Tn. One other possibility, he could be Wm s/o Joseph and Lunsford, but don't think so. Any data out there? *Barb
