I am looking for parents of Willie Pollard born reportedly in Wake County, married Ann DAVIS in 1816 in Granville Co., died in Granville Co. in 1860. Major Pollard is one of the possible fathers for him. I have a note in my database that Major Pollard appears in the LDS Ancestral File as AF number HH2F-N0, born before 1769, Wake Co. NC. I didn't incorporate the information into my database yet, and don't have my paper copy handy, but if you're pursuing this family, this might be worth checking. John Bowles M. Reavis went frm NC to Davidson Co Tn, and then onto Illinois. His children were born in Tn. I have found the following and need input frm family to verify if this Miles Reavis, is indeed s/o JBMR. 1900 Jackson Co Il Census Reavis, Miles b1848 age 52 b Tn Emaline b 1854 age 45 b Il Arthur b 1874 25 b Il Emalline b 1883 16 b Il Samuel b 1885 14 b Il Reason this is confusing, is that I have a first wife Louise Plotner whom he married in 1868 and had a son Laban b1871 a second wife Mary Emma Fuller married 1888 The chn listed in the census are born 1874 thru 1885..which might indicate a wife Emaline in between the two listed. *Barb
