Hi All! There is some GREAT information flowing here. Thanks to all. However, sometimes it's hard to know which threads I'm interested in, and which I'm not following. How about this suggestion: Let's all format our "SUBJECT" lines as follows: Surname, First name (if any), State/County/Province/Country, Era (date or approximate date) Followed by any other details you'd like to include. For example: Raynor, Thurston & Elizabeth, Suffolk England, 1500s - Anyone know parents? or: Dotson, Wise Co., VA, 1700s - Seeking any information on this line This way, you'll know right away if there is information you can help with, or it's a line you are interested in following. I'm afraid we are going to lose subscribers to "information overload" if we don't do something. Of course, you are free to follow this standard, ignore it, or post a better suggestion. My hope is that we will all agree on a format that works for our group, and newcomers will see us using it, understand the value in doing so, and keep it going. Thanks again! - Tom
