    3. Hi-Glad there is a list for this surname now, and thank you....My husband's g grandfather was Jonathan Lambert RAYNER, b.ca.1861 Eng. It is oral family history that there were 4 RAYNER bros who came by ship to US and then 2 went to Canada and 2 went to CA for gold rush. Supposedly they came around the Cape Horn to San Francico port, CA too.......ca.1850. Any data or a seemingly cousin line connecting to this would help us.... Jonathan Lambert RAYNER m.ca. 1886 in CA to Sara Emma LOCKART and they remained in the Sonoma Co area at least until I found them on the 1920 Maricopa Co., AZ census. His son and family had decided to go to AZ in 1914 not long after AZ became a state so they could homestead there, so a lot of the family left CA and settled on hundreds of acres of land they farmed in Litchfield Park, AZ. for many years, some went back to CA in mid 1950's, and yet other descendants of this line are still in Maricopa Co., AZ Happy Trails, Joan in MT Also, visit my 4 personal home pages on spirituality and genealogy: http://www.geocities.com/crystalwoman_2000/
