Hi All! I have a mystery for you. A thoughtful antique dealer rescued an old scrap book from a trunk he bought. It had belonged to an actress named "Ruth Raynor." The scrapbook is full of clippings from all over the country between 1902 to 1912. She performed with several different groups, and frequently had top billing. At one point her group was actually billed as the "Ruth Raynor Stock Co.," so she must have done well. Several formal portraits were taken at studios in New York, however, I have no idea where she came from, where she went, who her parents were, whether she was married, or what happened after 1912, when the scrap book abruptly ended. Any information would be appreciated. And, of course, if anyone out there is actually related to her, I'd like to share this great find with you! - Tom Raynor
