Hi, Bill - Now, to the questions in your 1 May email message: 1. Yes, I did compile a revision in 1998 of THE RAYNORS OF KETCHAPONACK, because I had collected so much additional information since the 2nd edition was published in 1994. The 1998 version has about 3500 direct descendants of Jonathan-3 Raynor. I have hard copies available for the cost to me of copying and mailing -$15. It is an 8 1/2" x 11" spiral-bound, paperback of 270 pages. 2. Yes, Bill, you are in the 1998 edition,on page 69. 3. I don't know Tryphenia Fordham's birthdate, but I do have her father as Stephen Fordham of L.I. Thanks for the information that her daughter, Tryphena Raynor, was married by her uncle, Rev. Lemuel Fordham; I didn't have that. 4. I don't know David-4 Raynor's date and place of death, or when he moved to New Jersey. My information about David-4 Raynor and his son, Jonathan-5 Raynor came from several sources: George Rogers Howell's, THE EARLY HISTORY OF SOUTHAMPTON, , L. I., NEW YORK (1887); records of the First Presbyterian Church of Morristown, New Jersey; records of the Presbyterian Church of Whippany, New Jersey; Morris County (NJ) deeds; DAR cemetery records; Rateables List for Morris Township, Morris County, NJ; Freeholders List for Menham township, Morris County, NJ; Military records in the National Archives, Washington, D.C.; Will of Jonathan Raynor, Jr. (1686-1741), Lib. XIV, 46, New York Wills, 31 Jan 1740/1-7 April 1741; 1790 U. S. Census; correspondence with Gerald Van Sise Raynor, Genealogist par excellence of the Raynor Family Association, Marlene Farrell of Elgin, IL, Rev. Larry Jacobson of Tulsa, OK, Donna Jakobsson of Vienna, VA, Marion Carter of Aurora, IL, and Mrs. Harold (Grace) Raynor of Plainfield, NJ. 5. Jonathan-2 Raynor was b. in Southampton, L.I., but I do not know the exact date. His wife was Sarah Pierson, d/o Henry-1 Pierson. That's the best I can do, Bill. There are still a lot of question marks. Best regards, Stuart -- Stuart P. Howell showell@ttlc.net
