Dear Bill, Welcome to the group! I hope you will find being a member of the RAYNOR list helpful to you in your search. The article, from which the excerpt in last night's message was taken, is one of a number of articles written about Freeport, LI (formerly "Raynorville") which were sent to me by Gerald V.S. Raynor. I am not personally familiar with the lineage of Alanson RAYNOR, and we all know how convoluted information can get in newspaper articles, etc. But hopefully someone on the list can help straighten it out. Stu, do you have information which can put us on the right track? Also, I just can't seem to get this "millennium" situation straight in my mind :-) Best wishes, Karima BTW, if you (or anyone else on the list) have anything you would like to add to the RAYNOR Family Web Site, please let me know. We can handle just about anything, just so long as it relates to the RAYNOR family and descendants and the areas in which they lived.
