    3. Thanks for your email, sorry to have taken so long to respond, I had to check through the material I had. I am still trying to trace my Raynor side of the family, but would like to share with you that in my search I did come across the following: Morris Raynor dob 19/Oct/1830 married Charlotte Garrigus Carterdob 2/May/1834 of Manorville, Long Island, NY, US It would appear they gave birth to the following children: Lillian Raynor (no date of birth) Ethan Edgar Raynor (dob 15 March, 1859) Clarence Raynor (dob 5 October, 1864) John Eston Raynor (dob 9 September, 1874) If this is your family, let me know and I will send you the url for the site I found them on. wendy orr ----- Original Message ----- From: "William Fogarty" <bandkf@techline.com> To: <RAYNOR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 17, 2000 3:45 PM Subject: [RAYNOR] Raynors and Devores > Does anyone have any knowledge of ANY marriages between the early Long > Island/NY RAYNORS and any DEVORES? She married Edward Clahan. Their son Edwin's marriage certificate states that he was born in Eastport, New York about 1879 and that his mother Ella Raynor was born in "New York." The only other information I have is that some ancestor was named Jemina Raynor and that these Raynors had Dutch ancestors as well. I would appreciate any information about this family. Barbara

    1. [RAYNOR] Lillian RAYNOR/Charles FINDLAY, Ontario
    2. Wendy
    3. Lillian(Lillie) RAYNOR married Charles FINDLAY(born Scotland) and lived in Ontario. They had several children, Mary A. Findlay (DOB 1914) and we believe two boys, one of whom moved to N.Y. State and died there in the 1960's. Lillie died circa 1918 in the influenza epidemic and the children became separated when Charles FINDLAY remarried. Believe Charles was in the army/forestry and died in 1950's. Any clues would be most appreciated.

    3. Hi, Sarah Ellen RAYNOR was br. abt.1863 in Flockton Wakefield Yorkshire. I believe her parents to be Charles RAYNOR and Eliza JOHNSON, I have not received Sarah's marriage cert yet. She married William Franklin DELP in Ringgold Iowa 3/13/1888. The DELP family came from Germany to Northumberland Pa. and then Iowa so I'm not sure if she came via Pa. too. That's all I have so far. 2. Hal Hileman
    3. I am still searching for any Raynor's who may be connected with my Mary L. (Hileman) Raynor. Mary & Joseph Raynor moved from Illinois to Iowa and in 1890 were living in Seattle Washington. I have reports they had a large family in Washington state. Later than 1890, Mary L. Raynor lived at 2558 Dexter Avenue, Seattle WA. Any hints, clues or even guesses would be a whole lot more than I have now. Thanks, Hal Hileman

    2. ron raynor
    3. Of all the Raynor's I have seen on the web, I have yet to hook up with one that connects with my forbears. I would like to post a little information on my bramch of the tree for all to see, and perhaps someone out there in the ether is or knows of an acorn that did not fall too far from that tree. Here goes: Stephen Raynor b. Nov 26, 1835 Rampton Nottinghamshire Married Emma Rachel Elizabeth Nov 28, 1861 They raised 12 children: Samuel, Stephen, Job, Albert, Ernest, (my grandfather) Rachel, Olive, Paul, May, Lillian, Grace, and Faith. Stephen Raynor died Jan 25, 1903. I hope this information fills a void for some other researcher, and perhaps share that find with all of us. Ron Raynor
