----Richard Radcliff was an early pioneer of Kentucky, leaving a will there in 1814. His oldest daughter was born in Lincoln Co. KY in 1770, so he was there very early. He was born abour 1738 - I don't know where. His wife's name was Jane. I have seen some conjecture that he was from Hampshire County VA, now WVA. His oldest son was named Benjamin. He went on to Southern Indiana to become a preacher. Richard's daughter, Mary Ann married Jonathan Peter and they also moved to Indiana. Does anyone have firm information about Richard's origins?
