Your William appears to be a brother of our Samuel, were his parents Robert and Nancy Ratliff of Lincolnton,Lincoln Co.Ga.?I show him listed in a will dated Dec. 18.1802 and later with brother James selling 50 acres along Soap Creek to his other brother Thomas in Oct 16.1807 after their father had died.I don't have much on him after that, this is one of the brothers we didn't know much about until i saw your note.
