Is anyone researching the MCMEANS line from or near Tazewell, VA? I'm trying to locate the ancestors of Anny/Anna MCMEANS b. 1819 in Lee County, VA and married Oct 1834 in Tazewell to Ennis RATLIFF b. abt 1814 in Tazewell. I believe that her mother was Margaret MCMEANS but her father is unknown; Anny was born out of wedlock. Any help at all would be appreciated. Emme Ratcliff Leslie
