I typed Moses AND Thompson which resulted in lots of posts about a suit to settle Moses Thompson's estate. A deposition from William RATLIFF is in the records of the suit. John Thompson and Mary Unknown's daus., Lucy and Mary, married Charles and Henry Skaggs. Moses is either the son or grandson of Henry and Mary. The names and relationships of folk involved in the suit link the Thompson-Skaggs line to several other families in frontier Montgomery Co., Va., and Green Co., Ky. areas. Thanks, Jemima Gee Morse
